The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is the recruiting body responsible for conducting the SSC GD Exam for Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in the Assam Rifles. As per the official notice released by SSC, the SSC GD Exam 2026 will be conducted in four phases starting from 27th April 2026 onwards.

SSC GD Constable Exam Date 2026
Around 48 lakh candidates have applied for the SSC GD 2026 exam. To make the examination SI Admit Card process smooth, officials have decided to conduct the exam in multiple phases.
- Phase 1: 27th April to 2nd May 2026
- Phase 2: 4th May to 9th May 2026
- Phase 3: 18th May to 23rd May 2026
- Phase 4: 25th May to 30th May 2026
The exact exam date for each candidate will be communicated through the exam city intimation slip, released approximately 8 to 10 days before the exam begins.
SSC GD 2026 Exam Schedule (Week-wise)
The SSC GD Exam will be conducted across multiple days from 27th April till the end of May 2026. SSC has also provided a Week Preference facility, with RRB JE the online window open from 11th April 2026 (3:00 PM) to 15th April 2026 (5:00 PM), allowing candidates to select their preferred exam week.
