Why This Recruitment Matters

For young engineers, geologists, Hindi scholars, and Company Secretaries, this notification represents one of the most attractive PSU opportunities of 2026. With a starting basic pay of ₹60,000, comprehensive benefits, job stability of a Maharatna PSU, and the chance to be part of India's energy security mission, the Coal India Management Trainee role is both prestigious and rewarding.

The selection process — being purely CBT-based with no interview — also makes it merit-driven and transparent. With 660 vacancies on offer and a one-month application window, eligible candidates should begin preparation in earnest, particularly focusing on the discipline-specific Paper-II, which often becomes the decisive factor in merit ranking.

Apply window: 12 May 2026 to 11 June 2026. Don't wait for the last day.
